The Seafood Guy, Jordan Budd, had a vision.  A vision of providing the freshest, most convenient and affordable way to enjoy the finest seafood the clear blue coastal waters of the Outer Banks could offer.  It all started with his truck and refrigerated trailer, hauling highly sought after specialties like Wild-Caught Grouper, Large Shrimp, and Live Hard Blue Crabs to his hometown.  A vision that has expanded to offering tidal delicacies at four amazing locations in Piedmont-Triad area: Robert G. Shaw Piedmont Triad Farmer’s Market in Greensboro, the Salisbury Farmer’s Market in Salisbury, Peachtree Farmer’s Market in Advance, and Hickory Farmer’s Market in Hickory!  And, OBX Seafood is now pioneering a delivery service bringing fresh fish right to your doorstep, beginning with Advance, Troutman & Mooresville.

With a passion for connecting his community with the sea, Jordan travels 5 1/2 hours east to the coast to connect with local fisherman bringing in the day’s haul.  Known as The Seafood Guy and greeting the boat captains, he loads up his iced-down, marine coolers with fresh, line-caught fish, tender fillets portioned that moment, and succulent shells from the Atlantic Ocean.  Stocked up and ready to go, Jordan travels back inland to deliver the most diverse variety of local seafood in the Triad.

  2. Jordon I have tried 3 times to place an order for pick up at hickory Market . I shop weekly and want the discount but for some reason I can’t complete the order

      We appreciate your business and thank you for your comment! You can place your order on our website and checkout by using PayPal.
      You don’t need a PayPal account to checkout. Our website accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover.

      Be sure to select your product size, select your market, and click “Add to Cart”.
      Then, click the “View Cart” button. Review your order and click the “Proceed to Checkout” button.
      Review your billing details and click “Proceed to Paypal”.

      The Order Summary screen will display your order.
      At this screen, you can enter your card details.
      Click “Pay” and you’re done!

      We appreciate the LOVE for fresh, local, and sustainable seafood brought to you each week by OBX Seafood. Yes! The home delivery service has launched for Advance, Troutman/Mooresville, and Salisbury! Place your order online as you normally would and select the Flat Rate option for delivery at only $5.00. Be sure to have your Shipping Address completed in your My Addresses section of your Account. Delivery is a great way to get fresh seafood at any time of the year!

  4. Hi! I’m trying to pre-order Jumbo Lump Crab Meat but keep getting an error that the link is broken …how can I place an order? Thanks

      Thank you for your message.
      Jumbo Lump Crab Meat is on the menu this week for Special Ordering, however the link needed to be reactivated. This one slipped by us, sorry for the inconvenience. We noticed your request came in today before the Wed 12:00 PM cutoff time, where normally you could place this Special Order. We will reply to you in email you to see what we can do to accommodate you the best way we can!

  5. I tried to place an order to pick up at the Salisbury Farmers Market on October 8th, 2016.
    I clicked the proceed to PayPal, but nothing happened. The little “thinking” asteric is still spinning.
    Really wanting the clams! Love your food.
